Incase you aren’t aware of this project, a New Zealander decided to do an EV conversion about 8 months ago and has been steadily posting updates on YouTube. Me too, I was there the whole duration of the project. When I saw that car move under its own power I felt like saying “spread your wings and fly away Gav, your father and I are proud…” I know it’s weird, but I was so touched and inspired, and I still am. ---

I had an idea while I was going to sleep a few days ago that maybe we should send Gavin a certificate or letter of thanks on behalf of the people of [evforum.net](http://evforum.net) and [wattintheworld.phpbb24.com](http://wattintheworld.phpbb24.com) (my forum) for his contributions to the EV community. Maybe we could accompany this with a few dollars worth of carbon credits from cleanairpass or terrapass? ---
