# Ford think question: Is it okay to turn the maintenance switch off at night or just leave it on?

I’ve just replaced the cluster and was told not to use the maintenance switch everyday. Any thoughts? I flip the switch as an added precaution and out of habit from my golf cart we leave outside.

Was this coming from Bob TCG? Did he say why?  
From what I understand that switch shuts down power to the DC Converters. Maybe he thinks the daily cycling was harder on the components?
