@Mechprone, My Gabriel 49614 shocks needed no grinding. They mounted right in the lower control arm. I did, however, have to drop the lower arm, using a jack to get the top of the shock to go in the hole. The stems on these were much longer and required double bushings on top to be able to lock down the nut.

Thank you for the correction @Mrbig, I stand corrected. I was just looking at some spec sheets and thought I saw the sleeve length being the same as the Monroe’s.

I have no idea how to post on this blog as I’ve never done this before so I thought I would simply reply to your post.
Does anyone have any interest in OEM Ford Nev parts? I’ve listed part numbers, descriptions and quantity I have on hand. Previously owned 12 vehicles on Sanibel Island Florida. My husband has a phobia of aftermarket parts so he bought parts daily so we had them on hand from Sam Galloway Ford in Fort Myers Florida. All parts are OEM in original packaging. I also have large parts not included in inventory as I just started taking inventory. Trying to figure out what to do with all these items. Thank you and don’t hesitate to email if you are looking for something not on this list as I probably have it. I also took photos of the boxes if you would like.

I would love too. This is just what I have in my garage. I have fenders, floors, backs etc. I also have about 6 vehicles (trucks 2 amd 4 passengers) however the cars have been outside for a while amd not used for awhile. I was going to start cleaning them up and putting In new batteries and clusters however I would prefer to sell everything. I’m in Florida.

Does anyone know what style flat plug Ford used to connect the 72-12 Volt step down converters?
I have looked at Digikey to find these with no success, but I don’t know what style or the name of those plugs.
I would like to wire in new converters using the factory style plugs.

They’re Sevcon converters. Google 4 pin Sevcon connector.

I am hoping to sell the lot of everything. The vehicles themselves have been outside sitting for several years. I have two trucks, 3 4 passengers amd 2 2 passengers and a boat load of OEM parts new in boxes. Sam Galloway Ford is right around the corner from me and my husband passed daily and picked up parts since we owned so many (I think 17 at one time) and he was a stickler for oem parts. The truck bodies are in tacked they would need to be cleaned up and would need new clusters and batteries. I send 5 clusters out years ago to Scott in California’s however his wife became I’ll and he kind of disappeared with my clusters. I have a few around somewhere but most likely would need to be reconditioned. Nev in Arizona sells them as well.

Scott is back around so you might try getting him to send your clusters back. I usually use Bob here in Florida as he’s a lot more reliable than Scott.
I’m still interested in all your parts and the Thinks if you come up with a price. I’ll be in Sarasota next week and could come see what you have.

I sent Scott an email a couple weeks ago. I will have my husband call him. At the time Scott was the only one doing them I believe. My husband has more of the details, I’m trying to clean up. It has been soooo hot I just haven’t had the desire to go to the shop. I have no idea of price. I would prefer an offer. I will try to get some inventory of the larger parts and photos of the thinks and get them to you this week.
