# Faraday Future to challenge Tesla

The last few months have seen electric vehicle upstart Faraday Future waxing lyrical about its first venture into the electric vehicle market which will be showcased at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show. The company has already announced plans to invest $1 billion in a state-of-the-art factory in a direct challenge to Tesla’s market leading position.

While details on the forthcoming Faraday Future vehicle are relatively thin on the ground, we have seen a number of teasing photographs over the last few days. There are high hopes for this new entry to the electric vehicle market and having built up the hopes of industry followers the company needs to deliver?

I like the specs of their EV but the styling looks a bit odd.
