# Error code -06

My 2002 GEM received an -06 error code and will not move. It is fully charged and was driving fine. Does it have anything to do with accelerator?

Error code -04 reads as follows:

accelerator pedal closed safety lock out release pedal before  
selecting fwd or rev

Most likely, the read switch in the pedal is stuck, or the connecting wiring has shorted. I would unplug the pedal from the controller and check each connection with an ohm meter. The pre-2005 throttle assembly is a Linemaster Switch Company welder’s foot control and is their part number 09ASAC-5K. Electrical specification and schematics are on their website. Linemaster also has good tech support.
