# Electric vehicle maintenance and repair

Hello:
I am an owner of a new electric vehicle (EV) purchased from an EV dealership. Since this is a forum for kit electric cars and DIY projects, I thought it might be a good place to ask for a source for general maintenance and repairs of electric vehicles - regardless of the make. The source needs to be in Ohio, since that is where I live.
I am looking for an established EV repair facility that has a full time well-equipped shop that operates 8 hours daily, and is able to service more than one vehicle at a time.

nice thing about EV’s is that most of the stuff on it is pretty easy to check by a simple DIY meathod. check to make sure charges on the batteries are the same, the motors are clean, and tire pressure up. otherwise you should be fine for a while…
tesla said their roadster is good for 100K before its first checkup…
