# Electric car charging market welcomes Ford venture with Plugshare

In a move which will be welcomed by many electric car drivers, Ford has today announced a deal with electric charging point service provider Plugshare which will effectively see Ford electric vehicle drivers receiving real-time information about local charging stations.

A number of electric car drivers have complained about issues with regards to electric charging stations which are sometimes out of order or not running at full capacity. This new venture will see an array of Ford electric cars receiving the real-time data therefore allowing customers to plan their journeys with more precision and confidence.
