# Dayton AC motor forward/reverse switch?

Hi, my name is Bobby and this my first post. I need a wiring diagram for a forward/off/reverse switch for a Dayton 3m292 motor. I’m assuming from past experience Ill need a 3pdt switch. Heres a scan of the connection diagram. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you want to do this off one switch? → F- (Off) - R  
Or two switches? → F-R and On/Off

Hi, I’d like to have a 1 switch, forward - off - reverse switch. Being an hvac motor I think it needs to be at a full stop before changing direction. Thanks for the reply.

That’s why I was thinking of a two switch setup.  
It’s going to be real easy to flip it over to rev when flipping it to OFF.

What’s going to happen? Most likely nothing. My lathe does this. It just keeps going the same direction it was going.
