# CV shaft question

Does anyone know if the CV shafts on 04 and older cars are the same as 05 and newer? I found someone parting out an older gem and would like to replace one of my CV shafts but don’t know if it will fit my 08. Also did the light duty and the ELXD use the same shafts?

No, from 99-2004 is one style and 2005-2012 is another.
