How much trouble will I be in by feeding my 72V controller 84V?

Check with the manufacturer & download their spec sheet.

I’m pretty sure its going to go into overvoltage protection. Call alltrax and ask them… I don’t know of anyone that’s used if for 84… plus, its not really 84… its more like 12.6\*7 which is around 88v… right NOW, with 6 batts (I assume) you’re at 76.
