# Controller Queries

Hi All,  
Can someone help me. I am having controller failure and wondering if I have a mis match on battery amps or something.  
I have 5kw/72v Motor with a 600amps controller and I am using a 6/12v Gel type battery with 156amps each battery.  
The total amps of 6 batteries = 936amps while my controller is 600amps.  
Could this be my problem?
