When I got my 2002 four or five years ago it already had a 17" long wide angle mirror clipped onto the stock mirror. I’ve really become fond of it and love the fact I can see behind me and to the side of me all at one glance. My 2008 doesn’t have this and the metal plates inside the doors to mount the side-view mirrors are missing and I’ve yet to open them, cut some 1/8" thick aluminum, tap 3 holes and make it usable for side-view mirrors so all I have is the inside rear view and I feel blind.

So I searched and searched while looking at the widths and the mounting and found the exact same mirror. 2 thumbs up for this mirror on our GEM.
