# Charging overseas

i’m shipping my 2009 elxd to england for work. does anyone know if i can just use a 220 to 110 down converter for charging the vehicle. if so what wattage would i need. i see 100w thru 5000w converters for sale. it charges on 10 amps i believe, so what does that transfer to in wattage, or is it safe to use a down converter?
