# Body parts for '96 Trans 2

I’m new to the GEM world and this forum; how hard is it going to be to find body parts for my 96 Trans2 that I bought as a project? I’ve been tearing it all down and want to remove the side panels from the footboard, but they are glued together and will break if I torque it too hard. Seems hard to find any parts for pre-1999 GEMs. Someone please give me a reason to keep moving forward, or should I consider cutting my losses and look for a post 1999 GEM? I bought for $500 so it’s not a huge loss; just looking for some guidance from you all on moving forward.

For sure dump it. It has ZERO value, Strongly 2002 up
