# Are EV owners really concerned about journey capacity?

It is interesting to see that the subject of journey capacity never seems to leave the headlines in relation to the electric vehicle market. However, it seems to be those who do not own an electric vehicle who have the most concern about journey capacity? Are perceived problems with journey capacity a myth?

The Tesla Model S has a range capacity of 200 miles on a full charge - how far can Tesla push this in the short to medium term?

Friends S gets WELL over 200 miles. He has TESLA “Quick Charge” units available on his travel routes that can provide 125 miles of capacity in 15 minutes. These stations have been set up by TESLA and are currently FREE.
