# About batteries

Hi guys,  
I wanna ask about batteries.  
what batteries did you use for your builds? 😕  
Im thinking of making a 24v dc electric trike and I thought if I can make it lighter then it would not be slow and also saves energy.  
what i thought is having pirated nokia handphone batteries hooked up till I get 24v.  
but I dont know how much amps does the motor needs.  
im going to buy the motor from aliekspress so I dont want to buy it from china to here and have it ruined by underpowered batteries :eek:  
do you guys have recommendations?  
the cheaper the better 😃
