I have moved my 2005 to a storage facility for about 3 months and was told I could put the battery to sleep with the app, but I cannot get pass the PW to open the “control”

I forget the PW to get into the Control menu, if I had that would it work, or should I just put it on a weekly timer?
It is a SSi battery igot about 3or 4 years ago from Inwo,

Thank you,

Which battery is this?
3 or 4 years ago?

Then you probably/most likely don’t have the push button start on the BMS. Those would show up on the ones at least a year/two old.

As an alternate, the BMS could be shut down by unplugging it, but it takes a 9v battery “Jump Start” procedure to get going again. Not as convenient, but not difficult either.

If you had a start button, it would be a silver thing with a blue(sometimes red) glowing ring around it.
