# 2002 Gem Code 66

I hae an 02 Gem with new batteries and a newly installed FSIP rebuilt controller. Anyone have any thoughts on why it is still throwing an error code 66?

Almost always shorted controller.  
Motor can also do it, but have never seen it.  
Disconnect the field to see if code changes.  
Does car still run in reverse?

No, it won’t run at all and just today installed a refurbished controller from FSIP.
