# 2002 Gem charge light never goes to yellow or green

My led in the dash pod stays solid red while charging and just goes off at 100 percent. It seems to charge ok. In reading other posts it reads like it should change color. It has he Standard zivan charger that came with it? I’m curious why it does not change. Any ideas?
