# 2002 Gem Car will not move

Brand new batteries and was working fine then just stopped.
7.5HP motor - turning key on - all power comes on with no error codes. Car will not move forward or backward. Any ideas what this could be?

When you put the switch to REV does it pulse beep?
What were you doing when it stopped?
Is display still active?
Do you have a meter?
Does this car have the DC Converter update?

Its a sign from god.

Shoot it.

Crush it with a bulldozer.

When you put the switch to REV does it pulse beep? - NO but dont think it ever did that
What were you doing when it stopped? - I was coasting backward down a slight incline.
Is display still active? - YES no error codes come up when key is turned
Do you have a meter? - No just the display on the steering wheel
Does this car have the DC Converter update? - I don’t know if it received the DC Converter update. I have a one year old OB7210 Quick charger 72v in the car.

Check your connections going from the controller down to the motor. Make sure they are clean and tight.
Otherwise → When was the last time your motor was serviced? It is acting like your brushes are stuck.
