# 2002 gem 825 4seat. Steering rack swap or rebuild

Hi, i have too much play on my wheel when driving down the rd. I need to ether rebuild the rack and pinion or replace it with a better one. Anyone here ever do a swap from the oem to a rzr r&p?

You can adjust some Of the slop in the rack.

I keep looking at the rzr racks and thinking it might be possible, just have not spent the money to get one and pull it apart. Down here most of the gems are well worn rental fleet retirees, so any options to worn out parts is worth looking into.
