# 2001 Gem not moving

Hello. And thanks for having me here. I have few questions to ask about a 2001 Gem e825. The battery is charging but the car won’t move forward or back. What is the problem. Help. Thanks

Hi Barry, this would be better posted in the GEM category. Could be a number of things. Has to be unplugged, battery charged, brake off and ignition on to start.

Does it complete charging with a solid green indicator?
